Are tall gable windows always custom sizes?

Almost always. Gable-end and vaulted glazing is sized to the roof pitch, so it rarely matches a stock unit. We template on site and have the glass made to that measurement.

Should the other high windows be checked at the same time?

We would recommend it. Getting access set up is most of the work, so checking seals and head flashing across the whole gable while we are there costs very little extra and often saves a second visit.
